A little clarity

Good questions.
Straightforward answers.

A few things you might want to know before making a beginning.

What is Form & Field?

An independent collection of practical guides and simple tools for personal creative projects. Use it to give an idea shape, plan your first session, and make a small first version.

Do I need an account or a subscription?

No. The guides, starter planner, and text templates are free to use. There is no account, subscription, checkout, or email requirement.

Where is my starter plan saved?

Your project name and checklist are saved in local storage in this browser, on this device. They are not sent to a Form & Field account or synced between devices. You can download a copy or clear it at any time.

What kinds of projects can I use this for?

A photo series, a personal website, a piece of writing, a small event, a handmade object, or any other idea that benefits from a little structure. Adapt the prompts to suit the thing you want to make.

Can I use a template with my team?

Yes. You may use and adapt the text templates for your own personal or internal team projects. Please link to the original page if you share an unmodified resource publicly.

Can I get personal project feedback?

Personal feedback and message delivery are not currently available. The contact page lets you prepare a local message draft, but it does not send it. In the meantime, use the review prompts in our first-draft guide with someone you trust.

Good things start small.

Your idea doesn’t need to be perfect. It just needs a beginning.
